The spectacular SY Montigne was purchased by an Asian businessman, who has brought the dragon-style of his new build to Southeast Asia for luxury charter.

The Albanian coastline is engulfed in mist, offering it a nearly scary feel that merely contributes to the secrecy that encircled the country for such a long time. The wind is unfortunately absent and the three, tall, elegant masts of Montigne, our 57-meter yacht, stay straight, but look unwelcoming without the sails. We steer our way close to the top of the Greek island of Corfu and pass by the outlying islands of Erikoussa, Mathraki and Othoni. Then departing Matraki to port, we motor southeastwards along the western shoreline of the island.

Next, the breeze gets stronger and Captain Richard Felton orders the sails unfurled. The fully-battened mizzen flies first, then the two furling mainsails, and then all three headsails. With six sails set in place, the engines are turned off. Unexpectedly, we are at one with nature. The skies are crystal clear, and the Ionian Sea yields a strong azure blue, topped with creamy crests. The wind quickly fills our sails - this is luxurious yachting as it was supposed to be.

Montigne was constructed by Turkish yard Aegean Yachts, for a skilled yacht owner who originates from Southeast Asia. She is the well-executed fruits of the several ideas and happenings the owner has experienced when sailing in his other yachts. Her very custom-made inside demonstrates the owner's individual style and concepts, while the spaciousness of the guest zones, a little something unusual in a sailing yacht, are evidently valued by an owner's whose previous boat was a large motor yacht.

Designed by Cox & Stevens and built by the Friedrich Krupp Shipyard in Kiel Germany, she is still powered by her original Krupp Diesel engines. A great history stars from her first owner the millionaire Max Fleischman of Santa Barbara with her first name HAIDA . Decades later the yacht is on her initial name and tenth owner. During World II Haida was acquired by the US Navy in October 1940 and was converted for coastal patrol. Cruisers 5000 Sport Sedan is very interesting and good designed yacht. The construction is made by single hull, made from fiberglass. The yacht is not large and there is not enough space for living there for a long time, but it is very good and handsome. I liked it much more than the largest yachts, because this one is more comfortable. There are 2 living rooms, under the main deck. They are small, but there is everything for your nice holiday. Into the kitchen you will find everything for living, and in the living room, the luxury equipment is all around. Entertainment & lay out Description : Aris’ Bar: Perhaps the most famous spot on board, John F. Kennedy first met Sir Winston Churchill in Ari's Bar in 1957. The intricately detailed bar contains barrels and sea chests hinting of pirate treasure, whaling harpoons and an illustrated wall map of the world. The circular bar itself was originally crafted from the timbers of a Spanish Galleon, wound with heavy sailing rope and is adorned with footrests and handholds of ornately carved whales' teeth. In 1936, King Edward VII visited Istanbul and was the guest of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the than state yacht, the Ertugrul. Those looking to visit the falls must drive seven to eight hours to the New York/ Canada border. This journey prohibits most visitors from enjoying Niagara, but a recent art installation by Olafur Eliasson will now allow visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of upstate New York while never leaving the “concrete jungle.”

“The New York City Waterfalls,'' is a temporary public art installation of four mechanical fountains depicting waterfalls similar to Niagara. The four fountains cascade from heights of 90 to 120 feet and can be seen from various locations along the East River. While the installation is visible from Manhattan's South Street Seaport and Staten Island, the best viewing location is on the East River itself. Steven Tanzman of Yacht Events understands the necessity to view the Waterfalls from the river, and that is why he is now offering special Waterfalls charters. Yacht Events, already known in the area as New York's Premier Dining Cruise, will escort its guests along the river to enjoy the beauty of the New York skyline and the wonder that is “The New York City Waterfalls.”

Charters will be available by day and night and will run from now until mid-October when the project is set to be disassembled. Eliasson is expecting an even higher attendance to “The New York City Waterfalls,'' as the scale of this project is significantly bigger. Additionally, these natural waterfalls come at a time when New York is increasing its focus on conservation efforts.

This was a great deal for the companies of Bergesen D.Y. ASA and Solvang ASA of Norway, which ordered 4 more LPG carrier, from this series.

Clipper Sky has a cargo capacity of 59,200 cubic meters. The deadweight of the new LPG carrier of Bergesen is 44,617 metric tons and the gross tonnage of the vessel is 35,158 metric tons. The length of Clipper Sky is 204.91 meters, the length between perpendiculars is 200,45 meters, the beam is 32.20 meters and the draught is 20.20 meters. The vessel has a draft of 12.10 meters, while fully loaded. Trinity Arrow has a deadweight of 79,556 metric tons and gross tonnage of 108,010 metric tons. The overall length of the vessel is 289.93 meters and the length between perpendiculars is 276 meters. The vessel has four cargo tanks, and the first cargo tank is the “Trapezoidal tank in the horizontal direction” in the LNG world, which is very efficient not only volume-wise compared with an existing prismatic tank but also in gaining reduction of fuel oil consumption as a result of the advanced hull shape.

The all hull and shape are designed with double hull construction with double bottom, double side shells, and trunk deck forming an octagonal section. The bulkhead of each tank is provided with a cofferdam and space heated by circulating glycol water to keep the temperature above +5 degrees C due to the physical properties of the steel in accordance with the requirements of the IGC code.
